What this website collects
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking. It loads nothing from other companies: the fonts and images come from the site itself.
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Emails you send to inquiry@solv-x.ca | To reply to you and keep a record of the conversation | Only as long as it is useful for the conversation or required by law |
| What you send through this website’s request form: your business name, email or phone, and message | To reply to you | It reaches us as an email at inquiry@solv-x.ca, sent by AWS from Canada, and is kept like the emails above. AWS also keeps each request’s contents in its logs in Canada for 30 days, then deletes them. No database keeps a copy. |
| Your IP address, which Amazon Web Services (CloudFront) uses to deliver each page to you and to block abuse | To deliver this website and keep it secure | Not kept. This website keeps no record of it. |
Who handles your information
Two companies handle information on our behalf.
- Google runs our email (Google Workspace), and the free call itself takes place on Google Meet. Google holds that information under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Amazon Web Services hosts this website in its Canada (Central) region, delivers its pages through CloudFront and sends this website’s form to us as email from Canada.
We do not sell your personal information.
Where it is stored
This website is hosted in Canada. Email is held by Google, and we make no claim about where Google stores it.
Your access and correction rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email inquiry@solv-x.ca and we will respond as the law requires.
How to complain
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or the privacy commissioner for your province, such as the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta or Quebec’s Commission d’accès à l’information.
Changes to this policy
If a later version of this website adds analytics or cookies, it will ask for your consent first, and we will update this policy before it does. For how we handle the data of clients, read how we handle data.
